La Boite's Roundhouse Theatre is an epic-intimate space and Australia's only purpose-built theatre-in-the-round. It's also flexible enough to be used as a thrust stage with the audience on three sides. This 400-seat home stage offers a distinctive theatre experience.

We include work for children and young people and regularly tour regionally and nationally.
LA BOITE INDIE is a curated season of four independent works, each of three weeks, occupying our reimagined 95-seat Roundhouse Theatre. It is a much-needed new platform for independent work in Brisbane.
LA BOITE SCRATCH is a refreshing, brand new platform for low-tech public showings of works in the early stages of development. Five new La Boite Associate Artists will curate a program of ten works, each shown over two nights in La Boite's Rehearsal Room.
LA BOITE LEARNING AND PARTICIPATION creates opportunities to take part in what we do in ways that emphasise learning, creativity and discovery for everyone. We offer acting classes for adults, school holiday workshops, professional development workshops for teachers, workshops for school students, internships, and corporate learning workshops for those in business.
LA BOITE'S AMBASSADOR PROGRAM is a year-long program for almost 200 high school and tertiary students from across Brisbane and beyond. Ambassadors attend all productions for free and take a leadership role in introducing the work of La Boite to their peers, schools, and families
